Rocks and waves 05

After all the tunnels, we get to the coast. Looking outward to the sea across which, somewhere, far far away, is North Korea. Lots of rocks, lots of rumbling water, anyone wants go for a swim in a place like this? ~_^

Tunnels 01

To fill the day, here's just a few random photos of tunnels going though mountains as I was traveling from Nagoya to the the northern (or western?) coast of Japan. And now off to sleep.

I'm tired, sleepy, can't think of any good captions for the photos, so excuse the lack of text in this post and sorry if I'm rambling. If you have any questions about anything, or find where I screwed up, if anywhere, let me know in the comments.

On the night, before the day on which I took these photos, couldn't sleep at all for whatever reason, so around 7 in the morning, went out to explore the city some more. Usually I got up around 10 in the morning, so this was interestingly enough, the first time I saw the city so early :p

What would you want?

What would you want

I'm currently working on some more changes to the site and I'd like to throw the following few questions as you, my lovely readers.

Obviously not even 1% of you, the visitors comment on the stories, so I'd like to ask you, the people who don't comment, to make an exception for this post as it relates to you directly and I would like to hear your opinion. No need for any long answers if you don't want, but if I could have a minute or two of your time, that would be quite jolly and I would extremely appreciate that. Thanks a lot in advance!

  • First of all, I'd like to find out how you came to this site, where you found it etc.
  • Second of all, after you came here and stuck around, what was it that kept you? What content and so on...
  • Third, what is your 'favorite' thing on the site - whatever it may be.
  • Fourth, what do you hate/dislike about the site and what would you personally like to see changed.
  • Fifth, and finally, what else would you like to see on the site? What type of content would you like to see added - ie contests. giveaways etc... basically what would be most appealing to you.

Again, thanks for taking the time to comment and as always thanks for coming here in the first place!

...before I get to the city, here's a photo of a cat licking its balls, while on a pile of hay, not too far from the apartment where I was living. And now on to the photos...

Here's something to eat

No long post again today, will be up all night (again) working on some well, work. Deadlines and such... So instead of a photo-walk post, here's just a photo of my dinner tonight. Chopped up a potato, mushrooms, a sausage, then threw everything on a frying pan, added a bit of oil, salt, fresh black pepper, some other random spices - while that was frying, took a piece of bread, threw some cheese on top and toasted it for a few minutes.

Then of course some tea, and well, there you have it, "dinner". Just a shame that it takes 3x longer to make it then to eat it. :(

Also yes, I do eat in front of the computer. :p

Let us start this photo walk not with a road, but rather with a cup of noodles. Mmmmmm noodles. Seriously, in the time I was in Japan, I ate a thousand times more noodles then did in my entire life prior to that. Mmmm mmm mmm, delicious noodles. And plus for the price that these cost, something like 200 yen if not mistaken, it fills you up way way more then anything you can get from say, McDonalds for the same price. I just don't get all those college students who are constantly whining "boo hoo hoo I'm a poor college student who has to eat noodles all day!" Whiny whiny whiny! :p
