Golden Macros

While wondering though a store on the 2nd of July, a day before leaving, took a bunch of photos in that store. No captions, just 31 photos. Enjoy.

Seriously, these are freaking amazing! I need to practice so I can take macros like these too^^
Do you edit your photos besides resizing them? Like color correction or white balance or are you just a totally epic photographer? Well, even if you do you're still very good, it's the final result that counts anyways!

@yonasu, I've asked this before, and he's told me that on 98% of the photos he does no editing. They were shot with a filter, but nothing was done in post.

@yonasu, No post processing on these at all. To add to what Matthew said, actually no filters even here. Just since I shoot in full manual most of the time, well, setting diffent white balances can give you a ton of fun "effects" - if you want to call them that. But yeah, thanks. :D

micahel, what do you work as? are u some kind o profesiona photographer, coz i mean, some of these photos are quiet better than the ones i saw in an expo in paris, you should consider photography as a full time job... i would buy some of you're photos

@julio, Heh nah, I work in the web design/development industry - am primarily responsible for front end designs and other such things. The photography I'm just doing on the side as a hobby ^_^

I would say 'learning' can only happen if you're shooting everything you see, all the time, every day, day after day :p I mean just to put it into perspective, in the 6 month or so that I had the LX3, I already took over 9000 photos w/ it - with that said I'm still busy exploring everything that can be done with it.
I mean photography is just one of those things which you just can't learn just by reading tutorials and looking at other photos - until one actually picks up the camera and starts shooting him/her-self, the "theory" behind photography is rather useless I think.

After seeing the pictures you've taken, I've gone and recommended the Lumix to a friend, who was considering a new compact camera!
Did you intentionally not correct the white balance on some of these? Or was the light really that yellow in the store?

@Lorenzo, Yeah, really is nice being able to get a 2.0 on a camera so small - really is a shame that almost every single other non-dslr camera can't do better then a 2.8. But yeah, the white balance is that on purpose, just looks a lot more "interesting" I think, then if the white was just... white. :p
